Anastasia Revi

 

Anastasia Revi was born in Athens and lives and works in London since 1995. She is the Artistic Director of Theatre Lab Company, an award- winning International Theatre Company, based in London. Theatre Lab Company is a charity and Anastasia is the Secretary of its Board of Trustees. Anastasia has directed a vast number of theatre productions in London, in Greece and abroad and she collaborates with Oxford University since 2015. She has worked as a workshop facilitator, radio producer, interpreter, translator of theatre plays and literature and as a producer of theatre festivals. She has worked in Education, she has organised art festivals, readings and presentations of Greek writers in London and Oxford, she has worked with a great number of independent artists from all over the world, including composers, poets, photographers, designers, film makers, and installation artists.

She has been invited to give lectures to Oxford University and the University of Cyprus. She has an ongoing collaboration with academics of Greece and UK, and she has a passion for Greece and Greek Culture. During the lockdown she continued to work by creating quality online productions, one of which, “The Philhellene Lord Byron” was promoted by the Ministry of Culture of Greece. Her current work focuses on Women’s Issues, and she is invited to give lectures on the subject of Empowering Women. She has an extensive experience into fundraising from small crowd funding activities to major events and her record consists of major organisations like The Arts Council of England, The Awards for All, and The Secretary General of Greeks abroad, as well as private funding.
