Fly me to the moon and let me play among the stars…
Andromeda is one of 48 constellations listed by Ptolemy, the 2nd-century Greco- Roman astronomer. Named after Andromeda, daughter of Cassiopeia in the Greek myth, the constellation lies in the northern celestial hemisphere. For Adrianna, the stars and space have held her gaze since her first encounter with Urania in a school play, but the tragic death of her parents in a plane crash kept her firmly rooted on earth. Her fascination with the myth and Urania, the muse of astronomy and stars, stayed with her but remained a dream that she pursued through the lens of her uncle’s telescope. One day she inherits from her uncle a once in a lifetime chance to travel to Mars on ‘The Arc’ spacecraft. Can Adrianna conquer her fear to travel to outer space? Yes, she can.

Oxford Festival of the Arts is a fortnight of events across the city. It attracts nationally and internationally renowned performers and artists, as well as exciting newcomers. It takes place in buildings, open spaces, and performance venues in Oxford. Its theme for 2024 was the nine Muses.
